The thought of owning a Laundry shop was extremely scary as I did not know where to start. Searching for a store location was very challenging and stressing for me until I found Pressed In Time.
Becoming part of Pressed In Time was
a great choice as it is
a well recognized brand that people trust and feel comfortable to bring
their
most precious clothing and household materials to be cleaned.
Being the first time business owner, I feel honoured not only making extra cash for myself but creating job opportunities for others and also helping members of the community with their Laundry chores. I pride myself in my store and take full responsibility for everything that is handed in my store.
Thanks to Pressed In Time for giving me this opportunity.

Leaving the comforts and security of the corporate world was an extremely daunting and scary thought which stopped me from venturing into my own business for many years but left me stuck in a rut and very unhappy. Being a single mother to 2 teenage daughters, surfing the internet and looking around for the last 3 years, I finally found the business that not only suited my pocket, but also allowed me to look at my situation and give me a way out of the rut I was in.
I wanted a brand that would be recognised and stand out above the rest and was not prepared to settle for less. Pressed in Time was it. Pressed in Time is affordable and it is comforting to know that I belong to a group were I can draw support from at anytime.
Being in the Corporate Industry for 22 years has taught me all about the importance of customer service and being hands on in everything that I do. I pride myself in my store and care for everything that comes in as though it were my own. That is the difference when you run your own business, what YOU put in is what YOU get out. The corporate world never worked like that, it was dependant on where you fell within the food chain and if your boss was hungry, you were doomed.
Ever since owning my own business I have been in a position to give my children the attention that they deserve without fear of having to explain my actions. My stress levels have dropped substantially and my whole being overall has improved. It has only been 5 months but I could never imagine going back to work for a boss again. With confidence and a helpful hand from Pressed in Time, I achieved one of my lifetime goals and have not looked back.

Having been Pressed In Time's former bank manager, when I decided to leave corporate life and start my own business, Pressed In Time was the obvious choice.
My dealings with them, previously and now, as a store owner have always been impressive; they are highly professional and hugely committed. Whlist I own my own business, it's great to have that support, guidance and encouragement. Today, more than ever, it's vital to be part of a well known brand. I'm delighted to be part of the Pressed In Time team, it was a great decision.

Following a career in the Corporate “ Jungle”, I realised that the only way to create my own destiny was to work for myself. By doing this, I would be able to leave behind a legacy for my family one day - hopefully one that they would be proud of. I did some research and went ahead and bought into a well known Fast Food Franchise and opened a number of stores. I came across Pressed In Time purely by chance but going onto the website and reading up on the concept, I was hugely impressed.
It appeared that there was definitely a need to be filled and meeting up with Mark and the rest of the head office team, I loved their passion and enthusiasm for their brand. I had the impression that MY success would be THEIR success. I made a relatively easy and quick decision to buy into the concept and become a store owner . I have never looked back! I am just about to open my 5th and 6th store. Although I am still involved in the fast food business , my focus is very much on Pressed In Time as there is no limit to the potential of this business! I see the proof in the figures, as my business grows on a daily and monthly basis.
Job Creation is not only important for our country but is a huge drive of mine. I love to give people opportunities that they deserve but would probably never have achieved elsewhere. For example: My very own domestic help moved into one of my stores as an ironer and has progressed quickly up the ranks to Store Manager.
Many people, because of the economic climate of our country, are doing without their domestic help. This means that they need to do their washing somewhere, as they need fresh clothes everyday. Pressed in Time is the answer! My decision to become part of this business has been an awesome experience.

Having stayed in different small mining town for almost 10 years the thought of opening a business had always toiled in the back of our minds. When we finally moved to Rustenburg the thought moved from being a dream to a reality. After looking around and considering different business opportunities Pressed in Time was like God sent to us.
Pressed in Time has been the best and unique opportunity that has been presented to us and we felt that if we loose it we would never be able to get any opportunity like it again.
The professional service that you get is outstanding. Being the first time business starter it was very easy to make a decision to be part of a bigger family of Pressed in Time. We truly felt welcome and were not only treated as business partners but family members too. The continuous support we get is amazing and always reassures the thought wanting to grow bigger.
Thanks to Pressed in Time family for the opportunity, and together we will grow bigger and better.

Creating my own business has been so exciting; I looked long and hard before deciding on a business that I can grow without limits. Having joined Pressed in Time, I’ve already opened my 2nd store and am looking for my 3rd, all this within 20 months.
Instead of being employed, I now control my own destiny and a huge motivating factor is the knowledge that I am now creating opportunities and empowering others, as many of my staff were previously unemployed and are now growing with me.
Doing the laundry is a chore that so many people would love to do without, yet trusting that their clothes will be looked after is so important. We pride ourselves on a stunning level of service that is equally economical.
In choosing Pressed in Time I wanted a brand in an industry that has been without any national brands, until now. I know when I choose a hotel to stay in; I want to know what its like before I go there, the same goes for food, estate agents, car dealerships and virtually all business’s. Laundry is no different.
You have to be brave to start your own business, it’s not the easy option, but if you put your customers first, provide opportunities and growth prospects for others, the benefits far outweigh that of being employed.

Being our own bosses has run in our family blood since I was young. We have been involved in catering business and selling vegetables. At some stage my father used to stock items like combs, lip glosses, and stationery and give to us, his kids, to sell to door to door.
When I was in tertiary I did personal selling as a subject and we had practical to sell door to door cosmetics and I totally enjoyed it as I was able to earn extra cash for myself. My mother had worked in a catering business and when she got retrenched her only dreams were to start her own business.
She started off with catering and it did well until her van was hijacked with the money she had made for the week as she could not bank on daily basis. She then she looked up at running a crèche but it never worked out as we were surrounded by too many of them in our area. Then finally dad as he was browsing through the internet he came across the signing up and becoming a pressed in time owner. He was so drawn up into it he could not wait. I remember how excited he was when he told the family how he had come across to something that would change our lives.
Pressed in time management team has been good and supportive in most times, I will tell you why I say so. “Starting a business is like raising a baby. You need to love and take good care of it until it is able to stand on its own. u do not expect that baby to start talking as soon as it arrives in this world, expect it to walk on its first day but you wait for all the steps to come stage by stage. This is how patient you should be if you want your business to succeed.” As well with the pressed in time management team we have had their support and assistance where we need it the most.

Having been a teacher for close to 20 years and as much as I love teaching children I also realised that I needed to empower myself financially. I had read about Pressed in Time in the press and decided to talk to them. What surprised me was how open and up front they where, I felt from the start we were working together to ensure we both made a good decision.
Having come onboard I can say it was a great choice, I’ve opened my first store in New Redruth, Alberton and the support I have received from Pressed in Time has been terrific. It’s so refreshing to have expectations that are not only met, but exceeded. My business is successful and I am extremely happy. So many of my friends are amazed at what I have managed to achieve, all in just 12 months.
I’m not afraid of hard work, but it is a great feeling, to be rewarded directly through my efforts, I’ve even managed to secure a Major Hotels laundry business and I see my own success growing substantially from here. Becoming part of Pressed in Time was a great choice, we work together for everyone’s benefit, we are the largest laundry in the country, and I know that we will only get bigger and better, together in the future.

Having spent 25 years in the Petro Chemical industry I decided I wanted to work for myself and create my own success. I looked at many opportunities and decided on Pressed in Time.
I feel very much part of the Pressed in Time family now and not only is my business very successful it is also continuing to grow. For me my decision was a wonderful one. I work hard and create my own success and enjoy the support and backing of the leaders in our industry. We are succeeding together!
